Why the article is helpful

  • Approach to justice to gain genuine equality in political and civil rights for people with cognitive disabilities

 

Laws should treat people with cognitive disabilities as equal citizens and should show respect for them by providing equal entitlement to medical care, housing, and other economic needs. The law should go further in protecting these people by offering them equal access to education. In order to obtain these rights, the authors incorporated their approach to justice to gain genuine equality in political and civil rights.
